Is there any proof that God Does God really exist? Evidence and opinions of scientists

Georgy Khlebnikov,
candidate of philosophical sciences.

FROM THE EDITOR. By publishing this material, we risk a lot. We take risks because today, both believers and non-believers alike, agree that it is impossible to rationally prove the existence of God. True, for various reasons. If the former believe that this is impossible, since God reveals himself to heart purity, and not to the intricacies of the mind, then the latter are convinced that since it is impossible to scientifically testify to the fact of the existence of God, then God does not exist, because. only science is objective.

However, not everyone knows that there is a centuries-old tradition in Christian culture. In the Middle Ages, such evidence became popular thanks to the Catholic scholastic theologians, primarily Anselm of Canterbury and Thomas Aquinas.

True, the scholastics, as a rule, turned their arguments not to atheists - what atheists in the Middle Ages! - but to believers, in order to rationally confirm the faith. Since the existence of God seemed obvious, "reasonable", then in the world, in life, philosophers sought to find obvious, reasonable confirmation of this.

It is interesting to note that in Orthodox tradition no such school of "proofs for the existence of God" emerged. Orthodoxy proceeded and proceeds from a different understanding of the relationship between faith and reason (although neither Orthodox nor Catholics, as a rule, oppose reason and faith). The main evidence in Orthodoxy was and remains the man himself, who has met God in his heart. And if this meeting did not happen, how can one believe? And if it happened, then loving heart no more arguments needed!

But many of us have learned Western philosophy. And our thinking itself has acquired such a Western "taste". How many times have we heard: and you prove, rationally justify that God exists! And if, by and large, such evidence is unlikely to lead a person to God (such is the position of the editors), this does not mean that they are absolutely useless. After all, for someone they can be the first step on the path to faith ...

Today we live not in medieval Byzantium or Rus', but not in medieval Western Europe. Much water has flowed under the bridge since then, but the believing mind has not ceased to search inquisitively for the rational foundations of its faith, finding new and new evidence of the presence of the Creator in the world.

The following article is an attempt to enumerate and (for starters) short description searches in this area. Of course, one can not agree with all the arguments, and if someone is interested in this or that proof, the editors are ready to provide both the author and his opponents with an opportunity for discussion.

16 Proofs That God Exists

1. The first proof that can be called "existential" (that is, "proof from existence") is formulated as follows: Why is everything that is, rather than not?

After all, both creating something and maintaining the existence of something is much more difficult than having nothing at all. Try, for example, to design a cottage on your own, choose a suitable place for it, build it and constantly maintain order in it ... Or, for example, in order for your garden to be a real garden, you need to regularly dig up, plant, weed, water, etc. If this is not done, the garden will immediately overgrow with weeds, run wild and turn into an ordinary field without any trace of reasonable care.

In other words, the existence of any thing or structure requires a continuous expenditure of energy; when its internal supply is depleted or its influx from outside stops, the structure collapses. Therefore, the eternal existence of the Universe contradicts, for example, the second law of thermodynamics, according to which all the stars in the Universe should have died out long ago and even atoms would have decayed if, as atheist materialists claim, nature existed forever.

So why does it still exist as BEING, as a beautiful and wonderful Cosmos? Undoubtedly, only because it was created by Someone and has been maintained by Him since then.

This Creator is God, about whom Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727), who formulated the laws of universal gravitation and motion, discovered differential calculus, said: “He abides forever; present everywhere; It constitutes the duration of time and space.

2. The second proof goes like this:

Why does everything that exists, naturally and amazingly ordered, bear the undoubted imprint of a reasonable plan for the arrangement of the whole? After all, such a plan cannot but presuppose the existence of a Mind that is superhuman in its capabilities, a truly divine Planner (since regularity is a property of the mind)?

So, Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543), who created the theory that the Sun is in the center of the universe, and the Earth only revolves around it, believed that this model demonstrates the wisdom of God in the universe, for “who else could place this lamp ( Sun) to a different or better position?”

When a watchmaker assembles a watch mechanism, he scrupulously fits one part to another, takes a spring of precisely calculated length, certain sizes of hands, a dial, etc. The result is a wonderful mechanism, which, by the very fact of the expediency and calculation of its device, points to the mind that created it.

But how much more complicated, more harmonious and more reasonable is the structure of the entire Universe around us, this beautiful Cosmos!

Albert Einstein (1879-1955), who formulated the theory of relativity, put it this way: “The harmony of natural law reveals a Mind so superior to us that, in comparison with it, any systematic thinking and action of human beings turns out to be a supremely insignificant imitation.”

The universe, as the ancient Greeks said, is "Cosmos", that is, a beautifully ordered and harmonious complex system, consisting of interconnected parts, each of which is subject to special laws, and all as a whole are governed by a combination of general laws, so that the pursuit of any particular goal in an amazing way contributes to the achievement of the overall goal of the whole.

Therefore, it is impossible to admit that all this was a matter of chance, and not of reasonable Providence, that is, the Providence of God.

3. The “cosmological proof” of the existence of God was developed by the ancients (in particular, Aristotle) and is most often found in the following form: every thing in the world and everything, the entire Universe as a whole has a reason for its existence, but continue this sequence, the chain of reasons until infinity is impossible - somewhere there must be a First Cause, which is no longer determined by any other, otherwise everything turns out to be groundless, “hangs in the air”.

Not only philosophers speak about such a Cause, but also many naturalists and scientists. Thus, the famous Louis Pasteur (1822-1895), who developed, among other things, the world-famous milk purification process, which since then bears his name, often mentioned the "cosmic asymmetric Force" that created life. He believed that the concept of CAUSE "should be reserved for the single divine impulse that formed this Universe."

It is clear that God is such a causeless cause: “God is not a man” - He is spiritual (“ideal”, like a thought), that is, he is outside of time and space, therefore he does not arise, but exists forever, being not a cause in the physical sense of the word , but the Creator of the visible Universe and its laws.

4. The “anthropic principle of the Universe” as proof of the existence of a reasonable plan for the structure of the Universe and God was, probably unwittingly, put forward by modern science, which suddenly found out that life on Earth, the emergence of man and the development of civilization are possible only if there is a combination of extremely hard and paradoxically improbable conditions, which, as it were, were originally laid down in nature itself: a fixed distance from the Sun (a little closer to it - and living organisms would burn out, a little further - they would freeze, turning into insensible blocks of ice); the presence of the rotation of the Earth, without which unbearable heat would reign on one half of the planet, while the other would be constrained eternal ice; the existence of a certain size of a satellite that provides a complex system of circulation of water flows; minerals and resources: coal, metals, oil, water, etc., without which technogenic civilization could not arise and develop, etc.

Moreover, modern scientists have the impression that the entire universe is located and oriented in such a way that it can be viewed with human eyes! The existing coordination, interconnectedness and interdependence of these factors is such that the possibility of its "accidental" occurrence is completely excluded.

5. The following proof of the creation of the Cosmos by a reasonable will was also formulated at the forefront of modern cosmology and physics, which drew attention to the paradoxical existence of the Universe in the form in which it exists: it turned out that only four basic physical constants, without which it could not exist for a long time as a structurally organized whole, the probability of their "accidental" occurrence and coordination with each other is approximately 10 to the minus 100th degree. But there are not four basic constants, but even more ...

6. The following "teleological" (from the Greek "telos" - fulfillment, result) proof of the existence of God in general terms has been known since antiquity, when Aristotle first noticed the presence in the body of some animals and in nature of clearly expressed expediencies. However, only modern discoveries in biology have indisputably proved the systemic nature of these teleological mechanisms and their necessity for the existence and survival of almost all types of living beings.

A variation of the activity of these mechanisms is, for example, the “pre-established harmony” of the development of various living organisms, which, even in the embryonic state, seem to know in advance what they will have to face after birth.

And - which Darwinian evolutionary theory is already completely unable to explain - studies of fossil organisms have shown that many of them have organs that anticipate external environmental conditions for millennia, organs that are absolutely useless under the actual conditions of existence of these animals, but will really be needed by this mind through hundreds of generations, when the conditions of existence will change radically!

A legitimate question arises, to which modern evolutionary theory has no answer: how can a mindless body have such amazing foreknowledge of future changes and how can it itself cause the required favorable mutations in itself ?!

This amazing fact clearly indicates the presence in the world of a definite and reasonable development program, that is, Providence, which is called the Providence of God.

7. The “transcendental” proof of the existence of the ideal world and God was partly discovered by Kant and can be represented as follows: there is a world outside of space and time - the spiritual world, the world of intellect, thought and free will - which is proved by the presence of thoughts in every person, which can refer to the past and the future, that is, "travel" to the past and the future, as well as instantly transported to any point in space.

Each of us, turning our consciousness to the source of our thoughts, can easily notice that they appear, as it were, from somewhere outside, the thought turns out to be a spiritual beam projected from somewhere, which illuminates material existence like a sunbeam - no way, no one and you never manage to cover it with your hand, it always ends up on top ...

Thus, a human thought, allegedly born in the brain, turns out to be both inside and outside of matter - it seems to arise due to neurophysiological processes in the brain tissues, surrounded by the bones of the skull, but, at the same time, fundamentally exists outside of any matter, outside of space and time.

Thanks to this, a person is clearly aware that he has a spiritual nature, which is fundamentally different from the physical world that surrounds him. But it follows from this that this other nature, this Spirit, the manifestation of which is man, also possesses both reason and free will - like man himself.

8. The following proof could probably be called "creationist" - it is based on the fact of the existence in nature of organisms and living systems that fundamentally cannot develop into a similar whole from parts in an evolutionary way, as Darwinism believes, but can only be created together as such an organic whole.

For example, the interconnected system of the heart, lungs and blood circulation in living beings can be attributed to them: it is impossible to imagine that at first, let’s say, only one blood circulation without a heart appeared, then the heart gradually “attached” to it and began to pump blood, and only after that lungs have just begun to develop.

9. Proof of the existence of God and spiritual world from personal experience– most people have met in their lives with “strange” manifestations of the divine and superhuman: both beneficent, Divine, and malevolent, demonic, or, probably, most often, both together.

In order not to touch on many dubious "traditions of the deep antiquity", I will tell you about a case that happened to my colleague. He came from a believing family, but at one time he taught “scientific atheism” at a university for many years and, like most Soviet intellectuals, led a life that was by no means pious. After experiencing several personal tragedies, he realized the depravity of his life and decided to go to the temple.

“When the priest,” he told me, “read a prayer for remission of sins over my head, and I began to get on my feet, some unknown force suddenly began to throw me from side to side so that I could not stand on my feet: parishioners I was supported on both sides, my knees were shaking and, to top it off, I was suddenly seized by a strange weakness. So for the first time I felt on myself the demons that are in the sinner, he concluded.

Quite a few such examples could be cited.

10. Evidence from the existence of ALL nations and peoples ideas about God and superhuman powers in one form or another; if individual atheists are found among many peoples, then there are no "atheistic" nations on Earth.

11. Proof from faith in God of most of the outstanding geniuses of mankind. For example, the absolute majority of Nobel laureates.

It should also be remembered that all scientists who contributed to the emergence and development of modern science with their discoveries (Copernicus, Kepler, Newton, Boyle, Bacon, Pasteur, Einstein) believed in God.

So, the founder of modern chemistry Robert Boyle (1627-1691) began every day with a prayer; moreover, 2/3 of the income of his estate in Ireland went to help the poor and support the Church, and 1/3 to the spread of Christianity and missionary work among the Indians.

Francis Collins, one of the founders of genetics, said: “Whenever we learn something new about the human genome, every time I feel a sense of awe that humanity now knows something that only God knew until now. I do not believe that scientific research can somehow threaten God. On the contrary, I think that God only benefits from our curiosity.”

12. An undoubted proof of the existence of God is also the regular appearance in the history of mankind of great saints and religious figures who directly have spiritual revelations from above and thereby testify to His existence.

These are not only such prophets as, for example, Moses, Isaiah, Ezekiel, who constantly communicated with God, but also the righteous, who illuminated and directed the lives of people with their light at all times.

Perhaps it will be enough to simply remind the reader of such great Russian saints as John of Kronstadt to understand that God still addresses us as often now as in distant biblical times - if only there were eyes to see and ears to hear.

God is always with us, it is we who, due to our weakness, either move away, or again try to return to Him.

13. Proof by contradiction: the tragic fate of the projects (and often their own lives and fates) of prominent atheists. The most striking example here may be the example of the “Lenin-Stalin case” and their followers, who for the first time in history tried to build an atheistic state on a “scientific basis” both on the territory of Russia and other countries of Europe and Asia.

For example, the fate of the best materialist philosopher of the USSR, Evald Vasilyevich Ilyenkov, the son of a famous Soviet writer, laureate of the Stalin Prize in literature, turned out to be tragic. All his life justifying the atheistic thesis about the “self-development of matter”, which does not need any spiritual foundation for its existence, Evald Vasilyevich could not find moral support anywhere in the Soviet atheistic reality, fell into a deep depression and committed suicide ...

14. Widely known is the "ethical proof" of the existence of the supersensible world, which proceeds from the objective existence of morality and ethical laws that regulate the behavior of human beings.

The studies of many philosophers indicate that events and influences environment only to a certain extent they can predetermine the behavior of people and force them to do certain actions: no matter how strong the pressure from the outside, a person always has the opportunity to break the causal relationship that unreasonable nature obeys and act as a free being, that is, as a being another, unearthly world!

To illustrate this, a simple example can be given: why do some people give alms, while others do not? It would seem that the latter act quite logically and reasonably - why part with your funds, money, knowing that you will not receive any compensation ?!

So what compels the former to still give alms, sometimes even on a significant scale? In the physical world, in nature, there is nothing that could explain such "illogical" behavior - this explanation lies outside of this, in the supersensible world, where there are great moral ideas of love, kindness and mercy.

The famous reasoning of Immanuel Kant, who clearly showed that a person in his actions and actions is guided by values that do not belong to the material world, belongs to the same type of evidence for the existence of God.

15. The proof of the existence of God under the name “aesthetic argument” has also become widespread, which says: in nature there is an amazing supernatural beauty of the starry sky, sunsets and sunrises, the Northern Lights, harmonious pictures of nature, the perfect arrangement of the beautiful bodies of living beings, etc. , which seems to be specially designed for the aesthetic pleasure of a rational being - a person - because there is simply no one besides him in nature itself to contemplate it.

The already mentioned Robert Boyle was so in awe of the beauty of nature that he often said: “When I study the book of nature ... I am often forced to exclaim with the psalmist: Oh, how diverse are Your creations, Lord, in Your wisdom You created them all!”

16. The proof of the existence of God "from the real to absolute perfection", put forward by Thomas Aquinas: in nature there is a clearly observable gradation of perfection within various kinds being, which can be understood only in the presence of an absolutely perfect Being, that is, God.

This proof may seem rather complicated at first, but a simple example will help to understand its essence: if you have a ruler, say, 30 centimeters long, and your colleague has 50 cm, if there are rolled meters and other measuring instruments, then all this exists only because the dimension of space really exists (its extension in different directions) and the idea of length.

In the same way, similar examples could be given with measures of weight, time, etc. But in nature, more complex types of gradations are also observed, among which a unique place belongs to the “ascending ladder” of perfection both in inanimate and living nature, and in human society, as well as among people themselves: there are, for example, crooked and ugly trees, there are ordinary, unremarkable ones, there are “simply” beautiful ones, but there are also unusually beautiful, perfect specimens. And so it is not only among different types of trees, but also among different species of fish, animals, within human races, and so on. – everywhere you can find more and less perfect individuals. But these different degrees of perfection in inanimate nature (for example, among stones!), between separate types of objects, living beings, etc., could not exist if there were no really existing measure of absolute perfection for them, which, however, we do not find in the material world, but which cannot but exist, and this perfection is God!
This is the essence of this proof.

Thus, we see that no matter where and how we begin to consider the world around man, all roads inevitably lead to the One who created and adorned him, Who constantly supports and guides him, and without Whom he could not exist even for a moment. - to God.

Hello dear readers! Welcome to the blog!

Does God Really Exist - Evidence? Sooner or later, every thinking person asks himself this question. If you have thought about this, you are not alone. After all, this question has been the main question of philosophy since ancient times to this day ("What is primary? Consciousness or matter?").

Does God Really Exist - Evidence

Based on the answer to the question "Is there a God?" The human world is divided into 3 categories:

  • Some people are believers- believe that God exists and they do not need proof of his existence.
  • Others are atheists- believe that the world is material and do not believe in the non-material God, as in the main Designer and Creator of this world.
  • The third is agnostic- believe that it is pointless to discuss the question of whether God really exists, since it is impossible to prove the existence of something that cannot be “touched” or “see”.

One way or another, but the answer to the question, to believe or not to believe in the existence of God, affects our entire life. How exactly this influence occurs, you will learn from this amazing 3-minute video.

Proof of the existence of God. VIDEO

So, today, both believers and non-believers believe that it is impossible to rationally prove the existence of God. Only the reasons for believing so are different for both.

Believers believe that God is revealed only in purity of heart, and not with the help of a proud and presumptuous mind. Unbelievers believe that only science is objective, and since it is impossible to measure, fix the fact of the existence of God, then it does not exist.

But few people know that since the philosophy of the Middle Ages there is a tradition and practice of proving the existence of God. The philosopher and scholastic theologian Thomas Aquinas owns the works in which he gave 5 proofs of the existence of God. Also evidence of the existence of God was given in his writings by the philosopher of those times Anselm of Canterbury.

Strictly speaking, the question, "Is consciousness or matter primary?" is the main question of philosophy. In other words, this question can be formulated as follows: “Is there a God?”, “Who created matter?”, “What happened before the big bang?”, “Could life on Earth have arisen by chance? and so on.

If you want to know in detail All 16 Proofs Whether God Really Exists, derived by philosophers, you can contact to this article. This list includes, among other things, 5 Proofs for the Existence of God by Thomas Aquinas.

Here I will give only a few of them - the most indisputable and obvious evidence of the existence of God from life itself, noticed by Aristotle and other philosophers.

"Existential proof" of the existence of God

This proof is formulated as follows: for any structure to exist, a continuous input of energy from the outside is required. As soon as the influx of energy from the outside stops, the structure collapses.

Let's look at examples. To build a house, you will spend energy on creating its design, building, then maintaining the house. If you stop supporting the house, it will fall into disrepair. One more example. If you want to have your own garden, you will need to spend energy on preparing the land, planting plants. As soon as you stop applying your work, your energy, weeds will destroy your garden.

Our entire world, including not only the Earth and the Solar System, but the entire Universe and the microworld, is much more complex than a house and a garden. So why do such complex structures still exist? No doubt because they were created by Someone and maintained by Him ever since.

"The Anthropic Principle of the Universe", as proof of the existence of God

Most likely you have noticed that Lately, science and religion, which were for a long time in contradiction, recently they have begun to converge again. After all, studies, for example, in the field, show that the world is not so “material” as we previously imagined it to be.

Other useful articles

But back to the Anthropic Principle of the Universe. modern science suddenly found out that the appearance of life on Earth, as well as the development of civilization, became possible only thanks to paradoxically to an unlikely combination of extremely harsh conditions. Among them:

And a lot of proportions and interconnections of our most complex world also coincided. Scientists say that the interconnectedness of all these factors is such that the possibility of their accidental coincidence is completely excluded.

"Cosmological proof" of the existence of God

This proof was formulated by Aristotle and was later used by the medieval philosopher Thomas Aquinas as one of the 5 proofs for the existence of God. Most often it is formulated in this form:

Every thing in this world, including the Universe, has a reason for its existence and it is impossible to continue the chain, the sequence of reasons. Eventually we will come to the First Cause.

Not only philosophers, but also other scientists talk about it today (“What happened before the Big Bang?”). The answer to the question “What is the root cause of the Universe?” suggests itself. This is God, he is not material, but “ideal”, “spiritual”, like a thought, and is rather not the Cause, but the Creator of the Universe and its Laws.

Is there a God - the opinions of scientists

Moving deeper and deeper into the microcosm and the macrocosm, scientists are increasingly saying that science and religion do not contradict each other at all. Earlier, before the paths of science and religion diverged, many scientists, such as Newton, were theologians.

Isn't it exciting? Would you like to know the answers to these questions: - why are the secrets of the universe, the laws of physics, the solution of mathematical problems revealed only to selected geniuses? What is their secret? - and n why ancient Greek philosophers in the Golden Age of civilization, revelations about the universe were visited, but now they don’t visit us? Read the answers to these questions in this helpful and informative article.

Summary

I would really like the article “Does God Really Exist – Evidence” to be useful to you. The main conclusion that can be drawn by carefully observing the world around us is that someone created and decorated this world for us. This Someone constantly supports him, and without Him the world could not exist even for a moment.

I wish you all joy in learning new things and inspiration in all your affairs!

Here are some indisputable proofs of the existence of God, the Supreme Creator of people, all things and life. Immediately I would like to point out that the words Truth, Axiom, Fact, Truth are synonyms denoting the same thing. 📗

He is the One who created the heavens and the earth out of nothing... (Quran, 6:101)

Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were one and that We separated them and created all living things out of water? Will they not believe? (Quran, 21:30)

Reasonable Proofs of God According to Islam

4 axioms proving the existence of God

  • ⇒ The first axiom that proves the existence of Almighty God is the axiom of laws. Our universe is filled with many physical laws. For example, the law of gravity, the law of universal gravitation, Ohm's law, the law of friction, Newton's law, etc. If you pick up any thing and let it go, it will immediately fall to the ground. But did this object itself establish for itself that it would be attracted to the surface of the Earth, or did the Earth establish the law of attraction? Or maybe someone else established the law of attraction for the Earth and all objects? Similarly, we can give an example with all other laws that operate in our universe. Who made all these laws? Our axiom states: "If there are laws, then there must be someone who established them." After all, laws by themselves cannot be established. The question arises: who established all these laws of the universe? The only correct answer is God, the Creator of all things, Earth, Heaven and all life.
  • ⇒ The second axiom proves the very existence of God. It is called the axiom of order. For example, you once came home and saw a terrible mess and mess in your home. The wallpaper on the walls is peeled off, the TV is broken, the books are scattered, the computer is damaged. Of course, you will be frightened and leave your home for a certain period. After a break, you return to your house and see complete order in it. Installed a new TV and computer, new wallpaper and everything is in order. The question arises: can order restore itself? On my own? The axiom states: if there is order, then there is also the one who established it or brought it about. Now it's time to look at our bodies. Do they have some order, or is everything arranged and functioning chaotically? If you look at the sky, what can you see? You can observe some order: each Star has its own specific place! If you look into nature, you can also see complete harmony! Your heart is ordered, it contracts its muscle at certain time intervals, and the blood flows in an orderly manner through the arteries and veins! The whole universe lives in perfect order! Therefore, a reasonable and justified question arises: who established order and ordered all the celestial bodies and what is inside them? The only reasonable answer is God.
  • ⇒ The third axiom that proves the existence of the Creator is the trace axiom. For example, if there is snow on the road, and then a car drives along the street, then in any case, a trace remains on the snow. Now we transfer the example to life, the universe and people. Or take any object from those that surround us. Everything around us is a trace of someone's work or activity. Music is the trace of the composer's activity, the picture is the trace of the artist, the computer is the trace of the developers and engineers who have invested a lot of work in its creation, the book is the trace of the writers' work. And this list is endless. The third axiom that proves the existence of God states: “If there is a trace, then there must be someone who left it! A trace never appears on its own!” Man, everything that exists, life - this is the trace that indicates to all of us the presence of the Creator.
  • ⇒ Finally, the fourth, most interesting axiom, which is called the axiom of limitation. Our mind is arranged in such a way that it can only understand the essence of three things: man, the created world and life. Our mind is able to know only within the framework of these three parameters. What is a person, life and the whole world? If we disassemble a person, we can see that he is a completely limited creature and is completely dependent on the factors that surround him. This is food, water, rest, etc. If we talk about life, then it is a certain time period that is given to a certain living being. And this segment also has limitations. All things, Heaven and Earth are also limited. Life is limited, man is limited, all material and non-material worlds are also limited. The fourth axiom points out: “Limited things and objects are not capable of limiting themselves. Someone limited them and gave them boundaries that they cannot go beyond. The question arises: who limited everything that exists (heaven, earth and all worlds), life and people? There is only one correct and reasonable answer - this is the Lord God. He Himself is not limited by anything, does not eat, does not sleep, does not need anything ...

Creation of all things, heaven and earth

Video: "The Quran is unique by the human mind"

Meditate! There is still a mass of evidence that proves to us the existence of the Creator of all things. For example, what is more complex in structure, a picture on the wall, or Heaven and Earth? Of course, everything that exists is many times more complicated than a picture hanging on the wall. Question: "Is it possible to think that this picture itself appears on the wall?" Of course not. So, is it possible to consider that such complex worlds independently appeared and were ordered? There is only one conclusion - all these worlds were created by someone. And the only reasonable answer is that everything that exists was created by the Almighty God, who is not limited by anything and does not need anything.

The video contains very easily accessible information on how to believe in God correctly:

May the Supreme Creator make me and you constantly remember Him.

Koran 21:30

Statements of modern scientists-researchers about God

Who does not want to see anything but chance in this harmony, which is revealed with such obviousness in the structure starry sky, he must ascribe Divine wisdom to this occasion.

Astronomer Madler

We have seen the work of the Creator in this world, which is unknown to other people. Look into biology, look at any organ of the human body or even the smallest insect. You will find so many amazing things there that you will not have enough time to study. It gives me and many of my employees the feeling that there is something great and wonderful. This Someone is the cause of the creation of the universe, and this Cause cannot be understood by us.

Dr. David R. Inglis,

Senior Physicist, National Laboratory, Argon, Illinois, USA

I can't imagine the universe and human life without some comprehending beginning, without a source of spiritual "warmth" that lies outside of matter and its laws.

Andrey Dmitrievich Sakharov,

Faith begins with the knowledge that the Supreme Intelligence created the Universe and man. It is not difficult for me to believe this, because the fact that there is a plan and, therefore, Reason is irrefutable. The order in the universe, which unfolds before our eyes, itself testifies to the truth of the greatest and sublime statement: "In the beginning - God."

Arthur Compton,

greatest physicist of the 20th century, Nobel laureate

The meaning and joy of my science comes to me in those rare moments when I discover something new and say to myself: “So this is how God created it!”. My goal is just to understand a small corner of God's plan.

Henry Schaeffer,

renowned quantum chemist

In Sura Al-Mulk, the Almighty Creator says to mankind:

67:3 He created the seven heavens one above the other. You will not see any inconsistency in the creation of the Merciful. Take another look. Do you see any crack?
67:4 Then look again and again, and your gaze will return to you humiliated, weary.

Interesting: many believe that those who think that God created the Universe are the so-called "believers", and those who recognize the Darwinian theory or the theory of the origin of life through cosmic beings as right are reasonable people based on scientific facts and archaeological finds. However, to agree with Darwin, no less faith is needed, especially since science, including archeology, is finding more and more evidence of the reliability of the Bible and the existence of God. But is this proof necessary for someone who refuses to believe in Him? After all, you can argue with anything.

For example, when I started studying chemistry at school, I flatly refused to believe in the existence of a crystal lattice. It just didn’t fit in my head that there were some special bonds between molecules in substances, and, in the end, I was simply not satisfied with the drawings in the textbook! And I thought it was nonsense. And no Mendeleevs could have convinced me (this is probably why I had so many problems with chemistry).

But disbelief in the crystal lattice, even if it exists, is not as dangerous as disbelief in God, if He exists. After all, then you doom yourself to real problems.

The saddest thing is that a person, not believing in God, does not see the meaning of his life in that, hence the senseless fuss, emptiness in the soul, all kinds of complexes, spoiled relationships and much more.

But let's move on to the evidence for those who want to believe in the Great Creator, Who has everything under control,
who does everything with deep meaning and wonderful purpose. So, the first proof is not only scientific, but also quite logical.

Remember the famous Mount Rushmore? It is carved with images of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt. Is it easy for you to believe that these images appeared by chance? Over the centuries, under the influence of rain, wind, this miracle of the world suddenly appeared. Of course, this sounds stupid. Logic tells us that people planned and skillfully carved these images. If the mountain could not have appeared by chance, then even more so our Earth, man, the Universe.

Frederick Hoyle, a famous astronomer, proved how mathematically absurd the random combination of amino acids in a human cell is. He showed this with an example: is there any chance that a tornado will sweep over the junk market that will contain all the parts of a Boeing 747, and accidentally form an airplane from these parts and leave it there, ready to take off? This possibility should not be taken into account. It is much more reasonable to get acquainted with the biblical history of the origin of the Earth.

So, proof #1: Too many "coincidences".

Lookon your brain

Thanks to the brain, a person is able to simultaneously process an amazing amount of information. The brain perceives the colors and objects that we see, the temperature of the environment, the pressure of the feet on the floor, sounds, pain. The brain registers emotional reactions, thoughts and memories, controls the processes occurring in the body, and much more. It processes over a million pieces of information in just one second. So, is it possible to say that such a high-speed brain is the result of an accident, an explosion, the result of miraculous transformations of a monkey into a man?

Evidence #2: Only an overpowering mind could create such an amazingly complex organ.

perfect planet

If the human brain is so unusually thought out, then what can we say about the wonderful structure of our entire planet? Our planet has a perfect size and a corresponding gravitational force. If the Earth were smaller, the existence of an atmosphere on it would be impossible, just like on Mercury. If the Earth were larger, then it would become similar to Jupiter, its atmosphere would contain free hydrogen. Thus, the Earth is still the only planet known to us, which is supplied with an atmosphere containing the necessary composition of gases to support plant and animal life.

Apparently, our Earth is much more complicated than any Boeing. If his device speaks of a wise engineer, then all the more so our entire planet, any part of it points to such an Engineer Who does everything perfectly.

Evidence number 3: the extraordinary thoughtfulness of everything that surrounds us.

THE UNCHANGED Bible

Thoughts that there is a God visit a person not only when he studies nature. God left for people an even clearer proof of His existence - His Word, the accuracy of which archaeological excavations continue to confirm. For example, historical finds in northern Israel in August 1993 confirmed the existence of King David, the author of many of the Bible's Psalms. The Dead Sea Scrolls found in the Qumran caves and other archaeological discoveries prove the accuracy and immutability of the Bible.

As a result of the fact that it was rewritten (copied), translated into other languages, the text written on its pages was not damaged.

The Bible was written over 1500 years, by 40 different authors from different places, in three different languages, addressing different issues at different points in history. Nevertheless, there is a striking consistency in the Biblical text. Throughout the Bible, the thought runs like a red thread
that God loves us and invites us to receive His salvation and establish a relationship with Him that will last forever.

Evidence #4: We have reason to trust what the Bible says.

It is interesting that the path of many scientists who later became Christians began with the fact that each of them tried to refute the existence of God, to prove that the Bible is not a historical book. So, for example, in Soviet times, a group of scientists was assigned to prove that gospel stories- fiction, but, turning to historical references, they recognized that what was written about Christ is true. So, dear friend, I can congratulate you on the fact that you are not a victim of chance, you were conceived by God long before you were born, He loves you and is waiting for you to believe Him and trust your life!

Tatyana Gromova

Skeptics tell us, "There is no evidence for the existence of God!" Or demand: “Does God exist? Provide evidence for the existence of God!” Let us ask them: what kind of evidence are they looking for? In response, they clarify that they are looking for empirical (scientific) confirmation. However, this is not the only kind of "evidence" that exists. For example, forensic evidence is not always photographs, fingerprints, or matching DNA. Eyewitness testimony can also be very persuasive. Like, for example, the triple combination of motive, means and opportunity.

To insist on an empirical (scientific) proof of the existence of God in the case of an invisible and non-material God is illogical in itself! Many things cannot be empirically proven, but nevertheless they are real, such as the concepts of logic, numbers, justice, love, beauty, and science itself.

The axioms of logic, like those of geometry, must be considered infallible, although they cannot be proved. The use of logic in proving the logic of itself would be a vicious circle. Therefore, the concept of faith takes part in the understanding of logic at a fundamental level.

Numbers, whether integer, fractional or irrational, as well as the numbers "pi" and "phi" are well known to all of us. Mathematics is the "language" of physics (formulas, identities, coefficients, etc.). In it, the numbers are letters for the words of this "language". All this, although useful to scientists, nevertheless, their existence cannot be directly proven. Justice and love are real - and each of us would like to see them in our lives! But at the same time, they cannot be counted. Have you ever heard of 2 kilos of justice or 12 liters of love?

Aesthetics, whether artistic or musical, appeals to the morality of each person. Even though we cannot always appreciate the beauty - the form of presentation is often clumsy and distracts from the object of admiration, but still we perceive it as part of the surrounding reality.

Like logic, science is not absolutely all-proving. There is always room for speculation. Thus, we see that many things in our world are real (miracles, by the way, also fall into this category), even if they cannot be empirically proven.

I am often asked how we as believers can “prove the existence of God?” Yes, we cannot prove Him scientifically, but this is not a problem, as we now understand, because much in our real life is beyond the reach of empirical analysis. God can be felt and convinced others of His existence, although there is no direct way to prove this scientifically.

Evidence for the Existence of God Enough

But is the skeptics' call for "evidence" a stone in the garden of biblical faith alone? I think no. Faith is not only an alternative to evidence, but also the ability to believe in higher power. And faith is relational. Several centuries ago, the philosopher and mathematician Blaise Pascal wrote a wonderful phrase:

“Openly appearing to those who seek Him with all their hearts, and hiding from those who flee from Him with all their hearts, God regulates human knowledge of Himself. He gives signs visible to those who seek Him and invisible to those who are indifferent to Him. For those who want to see, He gives enough light. To those who do not want to see, He gives enough darkness. (Blaise Pascal, "Thoughts", 7 ch., 430 pp.).

In other words, the amount of evidence of His existence that God has given us is sufficient, neither subtract nor add. He neither overwhelms the seeker with signs of His manifestness, nor hides evidence to such an extent as to turn a person away from Himself. The Lord also respects our agency. He could make us believe, but he does not, so as not to be disrespectful. He only provides enough evidence of His existence so that our response to them can naturally combine free will, rationality, and trust.

Conclusion:

The existence of God cannot be proven scientifically, but that does not prove His absence at all. Many things in real world are beyond the reach of science, which, by the way, explores only the sphere of matter and energy in space and time. If God could be subject to scientific research, then He would become in some sense a part of our physical world, which is only a part of His creation, because the Creator, by definition, exists outside of what He created. Finally, perhaps God does not want us to be able to prove His existence. This would replace our faith with you for knowledge.

Thus, what may have seemed like a weakness in biblical doctrine turns out to be a great strength!
